Man dies from ‘severe heart attack’ at age of 84

Man dies after ‘severe’ heart attack at age 84 in NSW article The man who died in Sydney after a long illness was “a true gentleman and a true soldier” who “took on the world and made it better” by fighting for what he believed in, his wife said.

“He would say that life is too short to have a job,” Mrs May said.

The 76-year-old died after being admitted to the Mount Druitt Hospital on Thursday, but his wife did not believe it was a cardiac event.

“It was a very serious situation,” Mrs June said.

“He was a great person, a great soldier, he had a great life.”

The couple had been married for 32 years.

Mrs May said the man’s illness had been going on for a while.

She said the couple were planning to leave their two children with their children’s grandmother in Adelaide, but the children’s mother had been told the father was in hospital.

He was due to undergo a lung transplant but had died from complications, Mrs May told the ABC.

Ms May said it was “very sad” that the man was unable to return to his home in Melbourne.

“When he would come home, he would always have to go to the hospital,” she said.

Ms May also said the husband had been “a great friend” to her for many years.

“I am very sad for the family at this time,” she added.

Mr May’s death comes at a time of heightened scrutiny of how coronavirus is spreading in Australia.

A federal parliamentary inquiry is set to investigate the extent of the deaths, and a Victorian coroner is investigating the case.
